Leadlight workshops

Are you wanting to learn how to create leadlight windows or mirrors, copper foiled lamps (both Tiffany and panel) or copper foiled suncatchers? Leadlight by Design now offers workshops.

Workshops will run over a three hour period from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Saturdays at a cost of $105.00 per person per session. The cost includes the use of all tools. Additional costs apply for the materials used in your project.

Due to the size of Leadlight by Design's studio, class sizes will be limited to two people. The workshops are informal which will allow you to work at your own pace. You will be assisted in designing and making project/s of your own choice.

Workshops will run during Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Health and safety warning

Please be aware that these workshops will place participants in contact with lead if you are making a leadlight panel and during the soldering process if you are making a copper foiled item. If you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or have other medical concerns (especially those taking blood thinning medication) please seek medical advice prior to undertaking any workshops.

You will be required to wear closed toe footwear and no food or drink is to be consumed in the studio.
